Grandma Moses Press is hosting a poetry reading in Albuquerque at Bookworks on July 2, at 7 PM. Admission is free because it’s priceless.
The lineup includes The Beatlick Sisters, Tim Staley, Joaquin Fore, and Katrina Guarascio.

The Beatlick Sisters, Pamela Hirst and Holly Wilson, offer up their unique version of Poetry Theater, often incorporating spoken word, dance, art and music into a multi-media experience. The poetic duo subscribe to the philosophy: Support art, don’t wait for art to support you.
Tim Staley was born in Montgomery, Alabama, in 1975. He founded Grandma Moses Press in 1992. He completed a Poetry MFA from New Mexico State University in 2004. He was a finalist in the 2013 Imaginary Friend Press’ Full Length Book Contest and the 2014 42 Miles Press Poetry Award. His chapbook Mr. Staley Always Lets Us is in the Archives and Special Collections at New Mexico State University. His hobbies include waiting, taquitos, and thinking. He lives with his wife and daughter in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Joaquin Fore has a B.A. in English from the University of New Mexico and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from New Mexico State University. His debut chapbook Parity was released from Grandma Moses Press in 2013. He lives in Albuquerque with a beautiful girl and a good dog and works at a warehouse where he gets to drive a forklift.
Katrina K Guarascio Katrina K Guarascio resides in New Mexico where she teaches Language Arts, Literature, and Creative Writing, and is an active member of the Slam of Enchantment Poetry Community. She is currently a managing editor of the small independent press, Swimming with Elephants Publications LLC, and a member of the 2015 Slam of Enchantment Slam Team. Along with many small press and e-zine publications, she is the author of two chapbooks of poetry and three book length publications entitled September, the fall of a sparrow, and my verse.
